Where is Lumora from?

Lumora originates from Guizhou, in Southwest China.

We are shaped by mist-covered mountains, silver traditions, and the quiet rhythm of a place where memory is carried in everyday life.

While our roots are local, our intention is not.
 We create silver pieces for connection — between people, time, memory, and meaning.




Where is each piece made?

Each Lumora piece is prepared with care in Southwest China and shipped internationally.

Our process begins with cultural memory, and ends as a contemporary object you can hold — something quiet, personal, and lived-in over time.




Is Lumora jewelry handmade?

Many Lumora pieces are handmade or hand-finished.

Subtle variations in texture and detail are part of the process.
 They are not imperfections — they are the trace of human touch.




Materials & Silver

What is Lumora jewelry made of?

We use 999 and 990 silver, chosen according to the structure and purpose of each design.

Each product page notes the exact material. Please refer to it before purchase.




What is the difference between 999 and 990 silver?

999 silver contains approximately 99.9% pure silver.
 It carries a soft, natural glow and a delicate presence.

990 silver contains approximately 99.0% pure silver.
 It keeps the purity of silver while offering slightly more strength for everyday wear.

Both are high-purity silver. The difference lies in how they live with time and structure.




Why do some pieces use 990 silver instead of 999 silver?

Some forms require quiet strength.

Chains, clasps, joints, and movement points often need more durability.
 In these areas, 990 silver allows the piece to remain stable while preserving its purity and aesthetic integrity.




Is high-purity silver soft?

Yes.

999 silver is especially soft. 990 silver is slightly more resilient, but still delicate compared to common jewelry metals.

It is meant to be worn gently — not forced into endurance.




Will silver oxidize over time?

Yes.

Silver changes as it meets air, moisture, skin, and time itself.
 Darkening or patina is a natural process, not a flaw.

It is part of its living surface.




Why does silver look different in some areas?

Time does not touch every surface equally.

Raised areas may brighten with contact, while recessed areas deepen in tone.
 This contrast is how silver records life.

Is each piece made to order?

Some pieces are prepared after purchase depending on design and availability.

Each order follows the exact specification shown on the product page.
 Unless stated, customization is not available.




How long does preparation take?

Most orders are prepared within 3 business days before shipping.

During peak periods or for certain handmade pieces, timing may extend slightly.




Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to adjust or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Once preparation has begun, changes may no longer be possible.

We recommend reviewing all details carefully before placing your order.

How long will delivery take?

Orders are typically prepared within 3 business days.

After dispatch:

  • U.S. delivery: 8–12 business days
  • International delivery: 8–25 business days (varies by region and customs)

Yes. Standard shipping within the United States is free.




Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship to selected countries worldwide.

Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging.

Do you offer engraving or personalization?

No.

We do not offer engraving, initials, symbols, or custom designs at this time.




Can I customize size or chain length?

Unless clearly stated on the product page, customization is not available.

Yes. A short gift message can be included at no extra cost.

Jewelry Care

How should I care for my jewelry?

Keep it dry when not worn.
 Avoid perfume, chemicals, seawater, pools, and hot springs.
 Store in a sealed box or pouch.
 Remove before sleeping, showering, or exercise.
 Polish gently with a soft silver cloth when needed.




Can I wear it in water?

We do not recommend it.

Water and chemicals accelerate oxidation and may affect the surface.




Can I wear it while sleeping or exercising?

No.

High-purity silver is soft and should be treated with care.




Repair & Warranty

Do you offer repairs?

Repairs are not complimentary unless the issue is due to production error.

Please contact us within 7 days if there is a problem upon arrival.




What is not covered?

Natural oxidation, scratches, deformation from pressure, breakage from misuse, water/chemical damage, or loss of parts are not covered.

Silver is a living material — it changes with time and use.




Product Details

Will each piece look exactly like the photos?

Each piece is handmade or hand-finished.

Small variations are natural and expected. No two pieces are identical.




Are color and texture exact?

We aim for accuracy, but slight differences may occur due to lighting, screen display, and natural silver finish.
